Short version: I collect what you type into a form, I use it to get back to you, and I don't sell or share it. The longer version is below.
Two forms on this site collect personal details. The contact form asks for your name, email, trade and team size, and whatever you type in the message box. The "get the app" form asks for your name, company, email, phone number and team size. Neither form is required to use anything else on the site — how it works, features, pricing, for trades, FAQ and the calculator don't ask you for anything.
I read it and get back to you, by email or phone, whichever you've given me. That's the whole use. It doesn't go on a mailing list, it isn't used for marketing, and it isn't sold or passed to anyone beyond who's named on this page. If you sign in to the app itself rather than filling in these forms, that's a separate thing to this website and handled by the app.
The forms are handled by Netlify, who host this site and process submissions on my behalf — your details pass through their systems to reach me. That's it. This site doesn't load fonts, analytics or anything else from Google or any other third party — the typefaces are served from here, so no visitor's IP address goes anywhere just for opening a page.
There's no analytics running on this site, and no advertising or tracking pixels. No cookies are set beyond what your browser needs to submit a form.
I keep form submissions for as long as they're useful for following up with you, and delete them once that's clearly done. If you'd like to know what I hold on you, or want it deleted sooner, email hello@extraproof.co.uk and I'll sort it — there's no form for this because it shouldn't need one.
I'm not a lawyer, and this isn't legal advice. Under UK data protection law you can ask what I hold on you, ask me to correct or delete it, and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you think I've mishandled it. In practice, emailing me directly will be faster than any of that.
